WrestleMania 42 had all the big moments- surprise returns, shocking retirements, title changes, and some memorable spots over two nights in Las Vegas. But a new report reveals the names of some extras who were brought in for the event but didn’t make it onto the show.
This is actually pretty common during WrestleMania weekend. WWE usually brings in a lot of extra talent, including rising stars and indie wrestlers. They are kept on standby in case they are needed for last-minute changes, surprise segments, or emergencies.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Emily Jaye, J Rod, Blair Onyx, Brittnie Brooks, and Nixi XS were brought in as extra talent for the event. They were backstage and ready, but none of them ended up appearing on the main show.
But even though they didn’t appear on the main show, many of these wrestlers stayed busy. J Rod competed at other events like StrangleMania and Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling’s Las Vegas show. Emily Jaye appeared at GCW’s “Immortal Clusterf***” and PoderMania, where Nixi XS also performed.
Brittnie Brooks had one of the busiest weekends. She took part in multiple shows, including Stardom American Dream 2026 and other indie events.
Reports also say that WWE brought in even more talent whose names were not revealed. Some of them weren’t meant to appear on WrestleMania at all. Instead, they were used for WWE World events, where fans can meet wrestlers, attend panels, and enjoy live appearances.
Even without being on TV, getting invited to WrestleMania weekend is a big deal. There is a lot happening behind the scenes, with many wrestlers waiting for their chance already.
