The role involves managerial duties and general shop floor tasks, including customer service, operating the workshop diary and EPOS system, stock taking, and liaising with manufacturers/suppliers. Professionalism and courtesy towards customers, colleagues, and suppliers are essential.
Sales Staff
Mountain Mania Cycles is looking for Sales Staff to join it’s busy Carterton branch. This is an amazing opportunity to work for a premium branded professional retailer, focused on working with brands that are at the forefront of the cycle industry.
The ideal candidate will be a conscientious, hardworking, and dedicated individual with the ability to lead and inspire. You will be required to work the shop floor, serving customers and answering any of their questions. You will be required to operate our till system, however training will be provided.
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to receiving any orders delivered during the day. Building bikes for the shop floor. Keeping the shop floor presentable and stocked up. Replying to emails.
Workshop Technician
Mud Dock is an iconic bike shop and café in the centre of Bristol. We’re set over two floors of an old harbourside building that was refurbished in 1994. Since then, our love of bikes and food have worked together for over 32 years, thanks to a raft of amazing staff and great customers. These days the Bike Shop’s main trade revolves around cargo bikes from Tern, the folding bikes of Brompton and everything in between covered by Trek.
We are currently recruiting a Workshop Technician to join us and help progress our busy, dynamic workshop. You’ll play a key role in delivering attentive, professional servicing and advice for our customers on a range of bikes that might require detailed servicing and fault diagnosis.
An average day might see you swapping out a warranty Bosch motor on a Canyon E-MTB, re-installing the lighting system on a GSD cargo bike, performing rear hinge replacements on a Brompton commuter and/or dialling in a Di2 system for TT-bike, all whilst maintaining the smooth operation of the workshop.
Part-Time Sales Assistant

As a Sales Assistant, you are the face of our brand, and a key part of our business success. We want you to share our passion for cycling and help every customer to have everything they need to ‘enjoy the ride’. You will achieve this through amazing customer service. You’ll be very approachable and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to commute with customers who have varying levels of cycling experience.
You will be assisting your team in serving customers in the store and over the phone, carrying out technical handovers, managing deliveries and carrying out sales administration. You’ll solution focused, flexible and able to work on your own initiative – a can-do attitude is an absolute must.
Workshop Mechanic
Cycle Addicts is looking for a skilled, hands-on experienced Bicycle mechanic to join our busy workshop in Rochdale. We aren’t just a shop; we’re a hub for the local cycling community, and our workshop is the heart of it all. We deal with everything from high-end carbon road bikes and muddy MTBs to the latest e-bike technology.
You’ll be our go-to expert for keeping the riders of Rochdale rolling. This isn’t just about the basics—we need a seasoned pro who is comfortable with high-spec builds and complex technical diagnostics on all types of bikes.
Full Servicing & Repairs: From basic safety checks to complete strip-downs and rebuilds. Technical Diagnostics: Expertly handling hydraulic brake bleeds, suspension tuning, and electronic shifting (Di2/eTap) setups. E-Bikes : Troubleshooting and updating Bosch, Shimano, and Avinox systems. Quality Control: Ensuring every bike that leaves the stand meets our high standards for safety and performance. Customer Interaction: Chatting with customers about their pride and joy, offering honest advice, and explaining technical repairs without the jargon.
