Fanatec has a brand new sim racing wheel, and while it’s not a high-end, screen-including range topper, it is an important change.
The ClubSport V3 launches today, 28th April 2026, and sits above the v2.5 in the sim racing equipment manufacturer’s range.
Compared to the existing model, it is 290mm wide, as opposed to 270mm. The tiny white OLED display is enlarged, now up to 2.7”, and while not a full colour touchscreen, the device remains relatively affordable at €349.95 / $349.99. Consequently, the rev lights have been moved higher.
Different, and presumably more expensive, wheels with colour displays are in development, according to the manufacturer.
The button layout remains remarkably similar, although spaced out differently due to the larger width, and with some key changes. Both the rotary dials for thumb use and centre-mounted 12-way rotary switches are of a fresh design. These have also increased from two to three.
What was previously a left analogue stick on the V2.5 is now a FunkySwitch.

An interesting addition this time is the ability to replace the grips – although presently there isn’t a Fanatec range of options, instead relying on user-created designs for now.
This latest device is on sale now and is compatible with PlayStation and PC. Fanatec has confirmed development of an Xbox-compatible version is in development, and that “More details will be shared in due course.”
