The show opens with a recap of last week’s show.

Myles Borne (c) vs. Saquon Shugars (NXT Men’s North American Championship)
Shugars charges in, Borne sidesteps, trading right hands, Saquon slings him into the ropes, grabs a punch, inverted jawbreaker-style neckbreaker followed by a swinging neckbreaker but Myles comes back with a Crash Landing and follows it with a Karelin lift! Shugars off the ropes and Borne catches him with a snap scoop powerslam! Saquon bails to the floor… MYLES BORNE TOPE CON GIRO!
Cutler James tries to cut Borne off on his return to the ring, whip across, Shugars hangs in the ropes to block a dropkick, shoulder block, going for mounted punches but Myles grabs him and counters with a Manhattan Drop! Trying for a backslide, Saquon counters with a Hot Shot! Out to the apron, he wrenches Borne’s arm to put him throat-first into the exposed steel bolt of the turnbuckle!
Myles crashes to the floor, referee backs Saquon off to check on him and we go to break!
Back from commercial, off the ropes, drop down, leapfrog, hip toss from the champion but his throat is still hurting! Knee to the back from Shugars, diving northern lariat through the ropes, back inside, arm trap reverse chinlock, slamming Borne back down when he tries to get to his feet! Myles fights out with right hands, Saquon sets him up top and clobbers him with an enzuigiri!
Up top with him, jockeying for position… CROSSBODY COUNTERS THE BACK SUPERPLEX! Trading pinning predicaments with aplomb, back and forth and forth, whip Shugars to the corner, he skins the cat up top, big dropkick from Borne sends Saquon crashing into the ropes! Uppercut, inverted headlock elbow drop from the champ, bridging fisherman suplex… NOPE!
Dion Lennox runs interference, Shugars with a backflipping northern lights suplex and Myles crashes to the floor! Osiris Griffin and Cutler James run interference so Dion Lennox can use a chair but Saquon catches him and he’s not having it! They argue, Borne shoves them into the steps, back inside…
Myles Borne wins by pinfall with Borne Again, retaining the NXT Men’s North American Championship.
Post-match, Tristan Angels comes through the crowd to congratulate Borne on his victory.
He introduces himself as “Mr. England” Tristan Angels and makes it clear he’s here to go after Myles and his title, but another new guy, Kam Hendrix, attacks Borne from behind and lays him out with a Rock Bottom!
Backstage, Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair are chatting when Kelani Jordan rolls up to complain that they’re getting opportunities that she thinks she should be getting. Kendal points out Jordan got knocked out in NXT Underground, Wren backs her up and Jordan says they’re being stupid because there’s no friends in NXT.
Sinclair says Kelani’s worried about the wrong champion and Jordan challenges her to a match later tonight.
We get a hype reel for Tony D’Angelo and go to break.
Back from commercial, Tony D’Angelo makes his entrance and gets on the mic.
He says the more this place changes, the more it stays the same, and competitors come and go but ever since he came into this building, he’s been the constant, and there’s not a man on the roster tough enough to kick him off the mountain, including whoever sent him that box last week. We’ve got competitors from Evolve and LFG attacking Myles Borne, Europeans stepping up, Keanu Carver side-eyeing him, but he’s interested in the box.
He knows it’s not a gift, but a warning–
The lights go down and come back up all blue and purple…
He makes his way to the ring to scattered “EVIL!” chants and goes face-to-face with Tony, offering another object, this time some fabric rolled and tied with twine. He throws his hood back and Vic Joseph introduces him by his credentials. D’Angelo unfurls the fabric to reveal a banner with the same character from last week as EVIL takes his leave.
As the lights come back up… TAVION HEIGHTS BLINDSIDES D’ANGELO AND LAYS HIM OUT! He tells the camera he’s coming for everything he deserves as a man in a hoodie moonsaults Tony D and commentary doesn’t know who he is so neither do I.
We get a vignette of Tatum Paxley and Shiloh Hill burying Blake Monroe’s casket in the woods, and they agree that they hope her soul finds peace wherever she ends up. Tatum says she’s just been in survival mode and Hill says she’s the kind of person that forms strong attachments and that makes her fun to be around.
Paxley says she’ll figure it out but talks up Shiloh’s match against Ricky Saints. Hill talks about running simulations based on all of Saints matches to learn how to beat him. He leaves and she lays down next to Blake’s open grave to send us to break.
Back from commercial, Birth Right make their entrance and Lexis King gets on the mic.
He says he has terrible, terrible news for us, because he just wanted to come out here and cheer on his brothers putting on a tag team clinic, but unfortunately for EK Prosper, he has to prosper all on his own because his Belgian bud suffered a little accident.
They throw to footage of a mock-shocked Arianna Grace rushing over to see Birth Right beating Dorian Van Dux up backstage.
EK Prosper runs down and throws valiant superkicks at Birth Right but finds himself overwhelmed by That Damn Numbers Game.
SEAN LEGACY MAKES THE SAVE! The babyfaces clear the ring! A referee is here and the match is still on with Legacy filling in!
Birth Right (Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Uriah Connors) vs. EK Prosper & Sean Legacy
Legacy and Loreenzo to start, fast-paced feeling out, Connors comes in and eats a German suplex! Snapmare, kick to the spine, cover for two! Prosper tags in, side headlock, blind tag from Stacks, fancy handspring evasion and EK rolls that into a double dropkick! Back body drop sends him to the apron, Stacks takes him out, Uriah dives on him and then Channing dives on Sean to send us to break!
Back from commercial, Connors and Legacy up top, avalanche back body drop from Sean, moonsault into an inverted Falcon Arrow and both men are down and out! Tags made, Prosper with an enzuigiri for Connors, kicks to Lorenzo, tornado DDT on Uriah, Stacks rolls him up, tag back to Uriah, kick to a reverse STO to a senton atomico… LEGACY BREAKS IT UP!
Back body drop sends Stacks to the floor, Connors sends Sean to the floor with a superkick, back inside, Spanish Fly, Shining Wizard from EK! Tag made, diving moonsault, Legacy gets Channing up in a backbreaker rack…
EK Prosper & Sean Legacy win by pinfall with Shambles from Legacy on Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo.
Post-match, Birth Right attack Prosper and Legacy… AND TATE WILDER MAKES THE SAVE! The babyface trio clean house.
Backstage, Kali Armstrong confronts Jaida Parker and says if she has to check her, then so be it, and the rest of the women get up to stop them from fighting as we go to break.
Back from commercial, we get a bumper from “Heartbreak Man” Shawn Michaels about the announcement that NXT PPV will be exclusively on the CW this summer.
Robert Stone shakes Tate Wilder’s hand backstage and welcomes him to NXT.
Lola Vice rolls up and says if Izzi Dame wants to play games, she’ll call her out, and she goes and makes her entrance to do just that.
She gets on the mic and says Izzi thinks she had her moment but she feels sorry for her because she can’t do anything on her own and the moment she does, she’ll get knocked out. So she’s in this ring, no waiting, no hiding, and she wants Dame to come find out what she’s gonna do to her. She’s gonna be the fightingest champion this place has ever seen and she wants Izzi to show her what she’s got.
Shawn Spears appears on the tron.
He says Lola hasn’t thought this through and if she wants to hold on to her title she needs to say one step ahead just like the Culling is, and Izzi Dame and Niko Vance appear behind her in the ring. Vice says it looks like she got got… or did she?
MR. IGUANA IS HERE TO HELP HIS TAG PARTNER AND THEY RUN THE CULLING OFF TOGETHER!
Backstage, DarkState bicker.
Saquon Shugars thinks Dion Lennox cost him the title on purpose and calls the tag titles a participation trophy. Cutler James and Osiris Griffin yell at them to get their heads out of their asses and stop fighting, and since their first plan was tag gold, they’re gonna go get that.
Back from commercial, Nikkita Lyons gets an inset promo about how she’s not going to let new girls jump her in line.
Lizzy Rain vs. Nikkita Lyons
Collar and elbow, struggling, springboard back elbow, back elbow in the corner, Rain slings her aside, off the second, Lyons catches the crossbody and slams her! Rolling crescent kick connects, grounded elbows, hammering Lizzy! Splits leg drop, Rain scrambles to the corner but gets caught with a charging elbow!
Nikkita takes her to the next corner and smashes her face into the turnbuckles a few times, grinding her face across the middle rope and then yanking it to send her flying! Chops get a kick, cover for two! Cobra Clutch applied by Lyons in the middle of the ring, Lizzy fights to her feet, ducks a short-arm lariat, boot up, duck a crescent kick, superkick connects!
Lariats take Nikkita off her feet, bridging evasion, Ace Crusher connects! Rain fired up, chops in the corner to the rhythm of “Make it rain!” chants from the crowd! Fireman’s carry, Lyons slips out, superkick connects, scoop and a sitout slam… NOPE! Stomps, Lizzy rolls away from the Vader Bomb, up and over, roll through, charging uppercut cracks out!
Rain fired up, eyes wide, pulling herself to her feet, calling for it, step-up axe kick and it’s over!
Lizzy Rain wins by pinfall with Thunderstruck.
Backstage, Myles Borne asks Tavion Heights why he attacked Tony D’Angelo, saying it’s not like him.
Heights says it’s the exact thing Borne did to Ethan Page but now he’s got a title and he’s acting different. Myles says that’s not what he means, he just got caught by surprise and there’s all these new guys coming in and– Tavion tells him he can add him to that list.
Keanu Carver rolls up and says he told Tony last week and he’s telling Myles tonight– there’s lots of sharks swimming around here, but you’re looking at THE great white.
Kelani Jordan makes her entrance to send us to break.
