Tonight on NXT, Myles Borne defends his NXT North American Championship against DarkState’s Saquon Shugars, EK Proper & Dorian Van Dux battle BirthRight, Lizzy Rain makes her NXT debut, NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo’s next challenger is revealed, Shiloh Hill and Ricky Saints go at it, and more.

NXT begins with a recap of NXT Revenge from last week.
We cut to backstage, Robert Stone talks to Matt Bloom and Shawn Michaels. He talks to them about how some of the top stars have moved to RAW and SmackDown and asks them both for new talent from Evolve and LFG. Michaels says NXT is anyone’s game.
Match 1 – NXT North American Championship Match: Myles Borne(c) -vs- Saquon Shugars w/DarkState (Cutler James, Osiris Griffin & Dion Lennox)
Shugars charges Borne and Borne dodges and takes Shugars down with some punches. Shugars hits a neck breaker and slams Borne down. Shugars jumps at Borne and misses and Borne slams down Shugars. Shugars is thrown with a gutwrench suplex and an xplex. Borne covers Shugars but he slides out of the ring. Borne jumps over the ropes and takes out Shugars and Griffin outside the ring. James attacks Borne and Borne strikes James and gets in the ring and goes after Shugars. Borne misses a dropkick and Shugars slams into Borne in the corner. Borne hits an atomic drop and clotheslines Shugars down. Shugars flips Borne over the ropes and slams Borne’s shoulder into the exposed turnbuckle (it got exposed earlier but they didn’t show it to us). Borne falls to the ground outside the ring and we get a commercial break.
Back to NXT, Shugars has Borne in a headlock in the middle of the ring. Shugars kicks Borne and Borne rolls out to the apron. Shugars strikes Borne on the apron. Borne flips over the ropes and tries for a sunset flip but can’t. Shugars misses a stomp and Borne hip tosses Shugars. Shugars kicks Borne down and slams into him against the ropes. Shugars hits a leg drop and covers Borne for a near fall. Shugars grounds Borne with a submission hold and slams Borne back down and locks him back in the hold. Borne punches out of the hold and Shugars sets Borne on the top rope and kicks Borne as he’s seated on the top turnbuckle. Shugars goes to slam Borne off the top rope and Borne counters midair and comes down with Shugars off the top rope and covers him for a near fall. The two trade pinning attempts and Shugars gets on the top rope and Borne drop kicks him off the top rope and Shugars crashes to the mat. Borne clotheslines Shugars and hits a PerfectPlex and Shugars kicks out at two. Lennox distracts Borne and Shugars hits a Northern Lights Suplex and Borne rolls out of the ring. Griffin and James distract the ref and Lennox goes for a chairshot and Shugars stops him. Borne attacks Lennox and Shugars and sends Shugars in the ring and hits Born Again and gets the win.
Winner and STILL NXT North American Champion: Myles Borne
After the match, Shugars looks a little pissed at Lennox. Tristan Angels shows up in the crowd with a mic and says he’s here to tell NXT that you’ll see much more than him. Kam Hendrix from LFG comes from behind Borne and attacks him.
Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey talk about the new talent showing up. Kelani Jordan approaches them and says she should be the top contender for the NXT Women’s Champion. Jordan tells Sinclair she’s clueless and tells Sinclair that Grey will leave her like Charlie Dempsey did. Sinclair challenges her to a match for her NXT title.
We come back from a commercial break and Tony D’Angelo comes out to the ring. D’Angelo says the more NXT changes the more it stays the same. D’Angelo says he’s the constant as talent comes and goes and there isn’t a man tough enough to kick him off this mountain. D’Angelo talks about everyone who is out for him but he’s more interested in finding out who sent him a warning via the box he got last week. The lights go off and a cloaked figure makes his way out to the ring. He gets in the ring and hands D’Angelo a shirt and exposes himself as the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Evil. He leaves and Tavion Heights gets in the ring and slams D’Angelo down. A random person who is dressed like a fan climbs the ropes and moonsaults onto a fallen D’Angelo.
NXT Spotlight is on Tatum Paxley and Shiloh Hill. Paxley talks about what’s next for her and Hill talks about his match against Ricky Saints tonight.
BirthRight (Arianna Grace, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Uriah Connors, Charlie Dempsey & Lexis King) comes out and Lexis King gets on the mic and says we are going to witness what generational talent can do and tells us that EK Prosper will have to fight this match on his own and we see BirthRight attacking Dorian Van Dux. Prosper runs out to the ring and he gets jumped. Sean Legacy runs out to even the odds and they clear everyone out.
Match 2: BirthRight (Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Uriah Connors) w/Arianna Grace, Charlie Dempsey & Lexis King -vs- EK Prosper & Sean Legacy
The bell rings and Legacy takes out Stacks and drop kicks him. Connors is tagged in and Legacy makes quick work of both Stacks and Connors. Connors is chopped in the corner. Connors is covered and he kicks out at two. Prosper is tagged in and Connors is double teamed. Stacks is tagged in and he kicks both Stacks and Connors down. Connors and Stacks take out Prosper and Legacy outside the ring and we get a commercial break.
Back to the match, Stacks takes down Legacy with a SlingBlade and delivers some punches. Stacks hits a leg drop and tags in Connors. Connors slams Legacy into the corner and chops him. Stacks is tagged in and Legacy is double teamed. Stacks covers Legacy and Legacy kicks out at two. Connors is tagged in and Legacy is locked in a headlock. Connors slams down Legacy and stomps on him. Connors chops Legacy and then gets on the top rope. Legacy kicks Connors and climbs up with Connors. Legacy goes for a superplex but Connors punches Legacy. Connors is thrown into the ring off the top rope and Legacy jumps down onto him and slams him down and both men are laid out. Stacks and Prosper are tagged in and Prosper kicks down Connors and Stacks. Connors is DDT’d and Prosper hits a springboard Moonsault on both. Prosper hits a Michinoku Driver and covers Stacks for a near fall. Connors is tagged in and Prosper is double teamed. Stacks slams down Prosper and Connors hits a Swanton and covers Prosper for a near fall. Legacy takes out Stacks and Connors. Stacks is tagged in and Prosper takes out Stacks and tags in Legacy. Stacks is knocked down with Shambles by Legacy and gets the win.
Winners: EK Prosper & Sean Legacy
After the match, BirthRight attack Prosper and Legacy. Tate Wilder from Evolve runs down and helps out Legacy and Prosper.
Backstage, Thea Hail talks to Jaida Parker and they talk about whether new girls will be showing up. Kali Armstrong says Parker is scared of competition. Hail gets in Armstrong’s face and Armstrong says she’ll be the difference maker in the locker room and she has no problem checking Parker. All the girls start to argue.
Robert Stone talks to Tate Wilder backstage and welcomes him to NXT. Lola Vice walks by Stone and tells Stone that she’s heading to the ring to call out Izzi Dame.
Lola Vice comes out and calls out Izzi Dame. She tells Dame that Dame can’t do anything on her own and she calls out Dame so she can beat her up. Shawn Spears gets on video and tells Vice they’re one step ahead. Niko Vance and Izzi Dame show up in the ring. Mr. Iguana comes out from under the ring and takes out Vance as Vice takes out Dame.
DarkState argues backstage. Saquon Shugars accuses Dion Lennox from costing him the match today. Cutler James and Osiris Griffin stay out of it until Lennox starts yelling. James says they need a new plan and Griffin tells them to calm down. James and Griffin say they’re going to get tag gold.
Match 3: Lizzy Rain -vs- Nikkita Lyons
We get the bell, Rain and Lyons circle each other and lock up. Lyons slams Rain down by her hair and Rain does a kip-up and gets on her feet. Rain slams into Lyons and strikes her in the corner. Lyons punches Rain and Rain hits a springboard shoulder check. Rain kicks Lyons and jumps on her. Lyons catches Rain and slams her down. Lyons kicks Rain and then mounts her and punches Rain several times. Lyons hits a leg drop and punches Rain in the corner. Rain’s head is slammed into the turnbuckles and Lyons chokes her out against the ropes. Rains hits a gut punch, Lyons strikes and kicks Rain and covers her for a near fall. Lyons locks Rain in a headlock and Rain breaks the hold and kicks Lyons. Rain kicks Lyons down and then takes down Lyons with some clotheslines. Rain hits a jumping cutter and Lyons gets chopped in the corner. Rain gets Lyons on her shoulders and Lyons punches out of it. Lyons slams down Rain with a spinning driver bomb and covers Rain for a near fall. Lyons kicks Rain and goes for a springboard splash but Rain moves. Rain connects with an uppercut and sends Lyons into the corner. Rain connects with Thunder Struck and gets the win.

Tavion Heights and Myles Borne talk backstage. Borne asks Heights why he attacked Tony D’Angelo. Borne tells Heights that’s not like him and Heights says he’s taking his opportunities. Heights asks if Borne doesn’t want him to have the spotlight and tells Borne to add Heights to the list of guys that want his belt. Heights leaves and Keanu Carver comes in the locker room and threatens Borne.
The Vanity Project is backstage. It’s Ricky Smokes’ birthday. Brad Baylor says he and Smokes have the tag team division on lock and they tell Jackson Drake it’s his turn. Drake talks about the girl he went on a date with and that he’s on top of the world. Jasper Troy comes up and says he and Drake have a date next week.
Match 4: Kelani Jordan -vs- Wren Sinclair w/Kendal Grey
We get the bell and Jordan slams Sinclair to the mat. Sinclair gets behind Jordan and gets on top of her and they trade pinning attempts. Jordan punches Sinclair and Sinclair takes down Jordan and locks her in a submission hold. Sinclair gets Jordan in an arm bar and Jordan breaks out of the hold and slams down Sinclair in a headlock. Sinclair reverses into an arm bar and keeps Jordan locked in it as Jordan tries to break out. They keep doing the same move, it’s the fifth time doing the headlock/escape bit. Sinclair tries to get a pin and Jordan reverses and Sinclair kicks out. Jordan hits an armdrag and a drop kick and covers Sinclair for a near fall. Jordan clobbers Sinclair and then kicks her in the corner. Sinclair elbows Jordan in the corner and Sinclair slams Jordan face first and covers her for a near fall. Jordan gets Sinclair caught up in the ropes and Sinclair kicks Jordan and knocks her out of the ring. Sinclair hits a dropkick off the apron and we get a break.
We come back from a commercial break and see Jordan working on Sinclair’s knee that she tweaked before the break with the dropkick off the apron. Jordan slams Sinclair’s face to the mat and then drops Sinclair’s knee first. Jordan continues to work on Sinclair’s leg, Sinclair kicks Jordan off of her and rolls her up and Jordan kicks out. Sinclair goes for another roll up and Jordan kicks out. Sinclair is taken out by a forearm to the back of her knee. Sinclair kicks Jordan out of the ring and Jordan gets back in and gets chopped to the mat. Jordan and Sinclair clotheslines each other down. Sinclair hits a double underhook suplex and covers Jordan for a near fall. Jordan kicks Sinclair’s knee and Sinclair goes for another roll up. Sinclair tosses Jordan to the apron and Jordan kicks Sinclair and then hits a over the top rope cutter on Sinclair. Jordan climbs the ropes and hits a Frog Splash but Sinclair gets her knees up. Jordan is covered but she kicks out. Sinclair tries for a bridging pin but her leg gives way. Jordan slams Sinclair down and hits her split legged moonsault and gets the win.
Winner: Kelani Jordan
A promo for Zaria plays. Zaria talks about Sol Ruca being a beautiful wave who was drowning her. She says she burned through that wave till Ruca was evaporated. She says she will scorch everything in her way and that her eyes have now been opened and she knows who she is.
Match 5: Ricky Saints -vs- Shiloh Hill
The bell rings and as Hill takes his shirt off Saints attacks him. Hill is chopped in the corner and then kicked down and choked. Hill punches Saints back and Saints sends Hill into the corner. Hill chops Saints in the corner and Saints knocks an elbow into Hill’s face dropping him to the mat. Saints connects with another back elbow and drops Hill again. Hill starts with punches on Saints and then picks him up and hangs him on the ropes. Hill clobbers Saints as he’s draped on the top rope and Hill knees him sending him outside the ring. Saints uses the apron as leverage to kick Hill down and Hill crawls under the ring. Saints pulls Hill out but it’s a dummy. Hill then comes out from behind the steel steps and drops Saints and we get a commercial.
