Green Bay Packers star defensive end Micah Parsons has sparked a situation on social media after a viral moment during an interview with Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Makai Lemon.
Parsons faced fierce backlash after he took a shot at the Eagles, while Lemon praised Philadelphia for being a “great organization.”
“Ay, bro, congratulations, bro,” Parsons told Lemon during the Bleacher Report during their live stream of the 2026 NFL Draft. “You had me at everything but the greatest organization, bro. I was really trying to hold (the laughter), bro.”
Fans almost immediately called out Parsons for his behavior during the interview. Even former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell had something to say about it.
“I love Micah Parsons as a football player, GREAT player .. but I hate the way he handled interviewing that young wide out drafted to the eagles .. young man just happy to be drafted, that’s not the time to diss an organization .. bro not even a Cowboy anymore, it’s just lame,” Bell wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

Parsons, however, has broken his silence over Bell’s criticism, saying that he was talking with host Adam Lefkoe and not directly addressing Lemon.
“I was speaking with Lefkoe! Lefkoe introduced the Eagles as the greatest organization in football! I’ve never handled any interview in that manner!” Parsons posted on X.
Fans are not buying his explanation, though.
“You were live with Lemon idiot so you did handle the interview in the exact manner Le’Veon is describing,” said a fan on X.
Another one said: “If you watch the video, you clearly made it awkward and took the excitement out.”
From a commenter: “[Expletive] we all saw it. You trying to gaslight us. Pussy can’t even stand on his [Expletive]”
“Biggest clown in the world- cowboys didn’t even want you bro,” a social media user posted.
Via a different commenter: “People aren’t as stupid as you to believe this obvious lie. Just a disrespectful [Expletive] is what you are dude and you live into it constantly”
Said another: “Why are you lying? We all seen the video [Expletive] GOOFY”
