Black Stars forward Ernest Nuamah is back in training after a long injury layoff on the sidelines.
The winger has been inactive for a year; his last action was in April 2025, when he sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
His injury occurred following a duel with Lille defender Gabriel Gudmundsson in the fifth minute of a match against Lille.
He was received alongside Malick Fofana and Rémi Himbert with a warm reception from teammates.
If the 22-year-old is able to get a lot of game time under his belt, he can make Carlos Queiroz’s squad for the World Cup.
The Black Stars are housed in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama.
