Hulk Hogan Documentary Director Admits Tons Was Cut But Says No More Episodes Planned

Netflix dropped its four-part Hulk Hogan: Real American documentary covering Hogan’s rise, controversies, and legacy, but plenty of fans came away feeling like four hours still wasn’t enough to cover everything from his decades-long career.

That exact concern came up when director Bryan Storkel appeared on the Ham Radio Show. He was asked whether there were any talks about adding more episodes or continuing the project, especially since Hogan’s life generated far more material than what ended up on screen.

During the conversation, Storkel admitted that a significant amount of footage and stories didn’t make the final version. He explained that the team made a conscious decision to stick to a four-part format and focus on what they believed were the most important moments that could realistically fit into the runtime.

“I wish there’s definitely more that you could cover. I mean, there’s so many things that got cut out, but yeah, I think it kind of we decided on that four parts and like that it’s four hours worth and we just put in the the best stuff or the stuff we could like, you know, we could fit. I think there’s there’s so much more though. I mean, I think you can there would be an argument made for that, but there’s definitely no talk of that.”

His comments make it clear that even though more stories exist, there aren’t any plans to revisit the project with additional episodes right now.

Hogan’s career stretched across generations and helped shape the wrestling business into what it is today, so it’s not surprising that many fans feel there’s still more ground left to cover. For now, though, the four-part series stands as the complete version of the story.
