Ricky Saints made his official debut on WWE SmackDown during this week’s episode, inserting himself directly into the main event picture.
The show opened with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes addressing the crowd and announcing that he has been medically cleared to return to in-ring action. His moment was quickly interrupted by SmackDown’s newest arrival, Ricky Saints.
Saints introduced fans to what he called “Friday Night Saints” and wasted no time setting his sights on the top prize. Declaring his intention to take the title, he challenged Rhodes on the spot — a challenge that “The American Nightmare” didn’t hesitate to accept.
