Originating as simple, mass-produced playthings in the mid-20th century, they were designed to spark imagination, turning carpets into rolling fields and tabletops into miniature farms. Today, they carry a deep sense of nostalgia, reminding us of slower, more tactile play in a pre-digital world. Collecting vintage ones adds another layer of charm: each scuff and scratch tells a story, and no two feel exactly the same.
