Live: Somerset v Yorkshire Men, Rothesay CC, Day Three

It’s a dry but overcast morning in Taunton ahead of day three against Somerset.

When play does begin, and that looks like being 11am, Yorkshire will advance from 13-0 overnight, a deficit of 99.

Adam Lyth and Fin Bean are together at the crease.

We had 13 wickets fall on the first day and seven during the morning session yesterday. But, fingers crossed, things are much quieter this morning and Yorkshire can pile the runs on today.

If they can and can leave Somerset somewhere in the region of 300 to win, then there’s every chance of a victory tomorrow, which would be quite the effort having conceded a first-innings lead of 112.

No doubt, though, Somerset hold the whip hand. A good morning with the ball and it would leave them in sight of a third victory in four matches.
