Rebel Responds to AEW Support After ALS Diagnosis

Rebel is feeling the love from AEW and its fans after sharing heartbreaking news earlier this week — and it clearly meant everything to her.

After revealing she’s been diagnosed with terminal ALS, AEW made sure she wasn’t alone. During AEW Collision, Tony Schiavone took a moment on the broadcast to send a message directly to Rebel, while fans in the crowd held up signs showing their support.

“We want Rebel to know you are a big part of AEW. We are thinking about you right now. We are praying for you that you will pull through this. We got a lot of signs in the stands here tonight that says ‘Rebel, we love you. We pray for Rebel,’ and we certainly do agree with that as well.”

The message didn’t go unnoticed. A day later, Rebel took to Instagram to react, sharing a photo of Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness at the desk and thanking everyone who reached out.

“Thank you to my @aew family and @tonyrkhan and thank you to the fans for the signs. They truly lift my spirits 🫶”

The moment showed just how tight-knit the AEW locker room and fanbase can be when it matters most, with support pouring in both on-screen and online.

Rebel’s message made it clear that even in an incredibly difficult situation, that backing is making a real difference.
