Sol Ruca had a major moment on Raw, but WWE quickly stepped in to clean things up after it aired.
During her contract signing segment to officially join the Raw roster, the spotlight was fully on Ruca — until things took a turn when Becky Lynch interrupted and shifted the segment into chaos. After a brief confrontation that even saw Adam Pearce get accidentally caught in the middle, Ruca stepped up and went on the attack.
That’s when the moment happened. As she went for her Sol Snatcher, Ruca slipped heading into the move, but managed to recover quickly and still hit it. The stumble aired live, but it didn’t stay that way for long. WWE later edited the footage across social media and promotional clips, removing the botch entirely and presenting a cleaner version of the sequence.
The decision to edit it out didn’t change the fact that Ruca’s Raw run has started fast and physical. She made her debut right after WrestleMania by interrupting Liv Morgan during her Women’s World Title celebration with The Judgment Day, immediately inserting herself into a high-profile spot.
That led to her first match on the brand, which ended in a loss after interference from Zaria shifted the outcome mid-match.
Ruca’s move to Raw also came right after a brutal final stretch in NXT, where she competed in a Last Woman Standing match against Zaria. The match ended with her crashing through two tables and needing eight staples in her head, making her Raw debut even more notable considering how quickly she returned.
Even with WWE editing the moment, the takeaway is simple — Ruca is being positioned in big situations right away, and the company is clearly making sure her presentation stays as polished as possible.
