TNA iMPACT Results – May 7, 2026 – Tom Hannifan & Matthew Rehwoldt to call the action for another taped episode from the Upstate Medical University Arena, Syracuse, NY

Eric Young vs. EC3 — No Disqualification Match

The fight spilled to the floor almost immediately, with EC3 dragging a table out from under the ring. He whipped Eric Young into the steel steps, then circled the ring to collect weapons — first an aluminum trash can, then a steel chair. EC3 tried to wrap the chair around Young’s head as they smashed each other with whatever they could grab. EC3 hit the Cactus Jack–style clothesline, sending both men tumbling over the ropes to the floor.

After the break, Young stomped directly on EC3’s groin, taking full advantage of the stipulation. He hurled the trash can at EC3, then pulled a chain from under the ring and tried to choke him out. EC3 turned it around and whipped Young with the chain. Young answered with a back suplex, then climbed the ropes for a moonsault that missed. EC3 hit a rolling neckbreaker and used the chain to choke Young again. He followed with a TKO, then wrapped Young in the chair and tripped him. EC3 hit The One Percenter with the chair still around Young’s head.

Somehow, that wasn’t the finish. They fought onto the apron, where Young kicked EC3 low three straight times. Young then delivered a piledriver off the apron through a table. He dragged EC3 back into the ring, hit another piledriver — this time on a steel chair — and finally got the pin.

Winner: Eric Young

Backstage — Gia Miller with Arianna Grace & Stacks

Gia Miller interviewed Arianna Grace and Stacks. Grace didn’t understand why she had to keep proving herself by defending her title, while Stacks rattled off all kinds of plans for her future whether she liked them or not.

Parking Garage — The System

In the parking garage, The System shouted about the matches coming up tonight. They continued pushing their fake narrative that “you can’t beat The System,” despite the evidence to the contrary.

Elayna Black Addresses the Live Crowd

Elayna Black came out and declared herself the number‑one Knockout in the division. She said she was coming for the winner of the Knockouts Title match and trashed the rest of the division without hesitation.

This brought out The Concierge and Ash by Elegance. The Concierge said Black looked like “a gothic prostitute,” and Ash bragged about being a millionaire with a mansion and a yacht. Indi Hartwell interrupted to mock both of them for comparing paychecks. Black got tired of the argument and walked out, leaving what Hartwell called the “real” Knockouts in the ring. Hartwell told Ash there wasn’t a single thing about her that was real. A fight broke out, and Hartwell knocked Ash to the floor.

Backstage — Daria Rae

In her office, Daria Rae couldn’t believe Santino Marella’s fight had been canceled, but she insisted she could handle every decision that needed to be made tonight.

KC Navarro & Nic Nemeth vs. Bear Bronson & Brian Myers (w/ The System) — TNA World Tag Team Championship

Nemeth saved Navarro from a double‑suplex, and the champions fired back with dropkicks to Bronson and Myers. Bronson countered an arm‑ringer with a short‑arm clothesline and hammered Nemeth with fists. He distracted the referee long enough for Alisha Edwards to choke Nemeth on the ropes. Myers slowed Nemeth with a chinlock. Nemeth broke free with a jawbreaker, but Myers cut him off with a high knee for a two count. Myers followed with a back suplex, then charged in for a clothesline — but Nemeth caught him with a Famouser, leaving both men down.

Tags were made on both sides. Navarro drilled Bronson with a spinning DDT, but Myers broke up the cover. Nemeth superkicked Myers to the floor, then wiped out Alexander and Edwards with a crossbody on the outside. Myers recovered and speared Nemeth on the floor.

Back in the ring, Alisha Edwards tripped Navarro just long enough for Bronson to catch him with a sit‑out tombstone to score the victory.

Winners: Bear Bronson & Brian Myers

Eddie Edwards Calls Out His Opponents

Eddie Edwards grabbed the house mic and demanded that Moose and Leon Slater come out so their match could start immediately.

Moose & Leon Slater vs. Eddie Edwards & Cedric Alexander (w/ Alisha Edwards)

During the match, it was announced that next week’s TNA X‑Division Championship bout between Leon Slater and Cedric Alexander would be a best‑of‑three‑falls match. The rest of The System was barred from ringside, leaving Edwards and Alexander on their own. Slater and Alexander opened the match with a sharp, fast exchange. Moose tagged in and floored Alexander with a chop. Moose and Slater controlled the early stretch, even hitting topes to the floor on both opponents.

Slater hit a top‑rope crossbody on Alexander for a two count. Moose tagged in and chopped away at Alexander, then caught Edwards on the apron with another chop before slamming Alexander and stomping him. Slater re‑entered and hit a big splash for a count of two. Alexander backed Slater into the heel corner, where Edwards thumbed him in the eye and then whipped him over the turnbuckles to the floor. Slater beat the count, but Edwards was waiting with heavy shots. Edwards baited Moose into the ring so he and Alexander could double‑team Slater. Alexander distracted the referee, allowing Alisha Edwards to choke Slater on the ropes. Edwards chopped Slater in the corner. Slater tried to fight back, but Edwards cut him off with a double chop to the throat. Slater avoided a charge, hit Alexander with an enziguri, and dove for the tag — but Edwards yanked Moose off the apron.

Alexander hit a dropkick to the back of Slater’s neck for a close call. Edwards followed with a clothesline. Alexander hit a Michinoku Driver for a two count. Slater fought back and caught Alexander with a leg lariat. Slater finally tagged Moose, who blasted both opponents with headbutts. Moose hit Edwards with the uranage/senton combo. Edwards caught Moose with a back elbow, but when Edwards jumped to the middle rope, Moose yanked him out with a choke bomb.

Slater hit The System with a double handspring back elbow. All four men slugged it out. Slater and Alexander knocked each other down with kicks, and Moose and Edwards wiped each other out with a double clothesline. Moose hit Edwards with a boot, and Slater kicked Alexander. Slater leapt right into a Lumbar Check from Alexander, and Moose speared Alexander. Moose went for a spear on Edwards, but Edwards countered with a sunset flip. Moose rolled through and caught Edwards with a jackknife cover for the pin.

Winners: Moose & Leon Slater

  • Frankie Kazarian & Elijah are out with injuries from their match last week.
  • Lei Ying Lee & Arianna Grace are cleared for the main event later tonight.

Backstage — The Broken Hardys

The Broken Hardys were back, wandering through what looked like a maze of stacked plexiglass sheets as Matt Hardy delivered one of his trademark apocalyptic promos. Jeff Hardy broke into a song as they continued pacing through the storage area. The feud between The Broken Hardys and The Righteous is far from over.

Mike Santana — In‑Ring Interview

Mike Santana said he proved what it means to be TNA World Champion when he took on Rich Swann two weeks ago. He enjoyed handing out opportunities and was ready to give out another title shot when Daria Rae interrupted. Daria told Santana he doesn’t make matches or choose his challengers — and with Santino absent, he certainly wasn’t picking the next contender tonight. She announced a battle royal for next week, with the winner earning the title shot. Santana said it didn’t matter who stepped up; the result would be the same.

AJ Francis Announcement

AJ Francis announced that he will face KC Navarro in a Sac Town Street Fight.

KC Navarro Responds

KC Navarro fired back, saying he came back four months early for his uncle, and he doesn’t need Nic Nemeth to beat AJ Francis.

Next Week on Impact:

  • Battle Royal for a Title Shot
  • AJ Francis v. KC Navarro in a Street Fight
  • Rosemary & Allie v. Victoria Crawford & Mila Moore
  • Leon Slater v. Cedric Alexander for the TNA X Division Title

Arianna Grace (w/ Stacks) vs. Lei Ying Lee — TNA Knockouts World Championship

Xia Brookside was banned from the Impact Zone for this one. Lee tripped Grace immediately and hit a running knee. She followed with an exploder suplex out of the corner, sending Grace rolling to the floor to regroup with Stacks. They huddled up, but Lee sprinted around the ring and wiped them both out with a running dropkick. Lee battered Grace around ringside until Grace sent her headfirst into the barricade. Back inside, Stacks distracted Lee long enough for Grace to shove her to the floor, where Grace suplexed her.

Grace hit a sliding clothesline for a two count. Most of her offense was yelling insults at Lee and the crowd between strikes. She hit a back elbow for a count of two, then slowed things down with a side headlock. Grace powerslammed Lee for another two count. Brookside was shown watching backstage — apparently not part of the banned area. Lee went for a Half‑Crab, but Stacks helped Grace reach the ropes. Lee caught Grace with a backslide for two, but Grace fired back with strikes and a pump kick. Lee answered with a spear for a close call.

Lee tried for a powerbomb, but Grace flipped out and hit a back elbow for a two count. Grace came off the top with a crossbody, but Lee rolled through, powered her up, and dumped her with a fallaway slam. Grace caught Lee with a kick and delivered a superplex. She slapped Lee and talked trash, which only fired Lee up. Lee blasted her with forearms, hit a spin kick, and dropped Grace with the Warrior’s Way. She went for the cover, but Stacks put Grace’s foot on the ropes — and the referee caught him. Stacks was ejected. Lee knocked him off the apron with a dropkick for good measure.

Grace hit a twisting neckbreaker for a count of two. Lee came back with a kick, then hit a springboard into a blockbuster and scored the pinfall.

Winner and NEW TNA Knockouts World Champion: Lei Ying Lee

Post‑Match

Daria Rae presented Lee with the Knockouts Championship. With so many heels lined up for title shots and few babyfaces, the timing felt right.

Backstage — Moose Attacked

Moose was found laid out in the back with a chair wrapped around his neck. The TNA medical team tended to him as the show went off the air.
