Arsenal can take a huge step towards the Premier League title by beating relegation favourites West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Mikel Arteta’s side currently sit five points clear of second-placed Manchester City with just three games remaining, although City do have an extra game to play.

The Gunners have finished second in the Premier League three times in a row, but Arteta’s side are now on the verge of becoming the first Arsenal team to win the trophy in more than two decades.

Ahead of their trip to The London Stadium, it has emerged that Arsenal have held talks with the representatives of an in-demand England international.

As per Christian Falk, Arsenal are one of three huge Premier League clubs that have discussed a move to sign Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon.

The report claims that both Liverpool and Chelsea have also held talks about a possible move for the winger, however German champions Bayern Munich are also in the race to land the player.

Bayern are said to have been in touch with Gordon and his representatives, with the Bundesliga side ready to offer the player a five-year contract if they can reach an agreement with the Magpies.

Gordon, 25, will likely cost in the region of £80 million, though, and the report suggests that price could hinder Bayern’s pursuit.
