Shane McMahon is not back on WWE’s active roster — despite social media claims trying to push that narrative.
According to a Fightful Select, there has been online chatter suggesting McMahon’s status on WWE.com changed and that he had quietly been moved into the active roster section. Fightful says that simply isn’t true.
Instead, the report states that McMahon’s status has remained exactly the same, with no actual movement taking place behind the scenes on WWE’s roster page.
The confusion likely grew because WWE recently made several legitimate roster-section changes involving notable names. In recent weeks, AJ Lee, Paige, and Nikki Bella alongside Brie Bella were all shifted into the free agent section.
At the same time, Brock Lesnar was moved into WWE’s Alumni section, which drew heavy attention online and led fans to start closely monitoring any other changes happening on the site.
But when it comes to Shane McMahon, there’s nothing new.
