WWE Using Bots To Crack Down On Streamer Clips

WWE is taking a much more aggressive approach when it comes to clips circulating online — especially content pulled from livestreams and streamer reactions.

According to\ Fightful Select, WWE’s latest wave of takedowns is far more widespread than anything fans and creators have seen before.

The report claims the company is now relying on outside enforcement tools to track and remove clips at scale.

“Regarding the takedown of streamer clips by WWE, this is the most vast they’ve gone, but @FightfulSelect learned that it’s a company called ‘StreamEnforcement’ using bots to do so.”

That detail changes the conversation significantly. Instead of individual manual claims, the process now appears heavily automated, with bots allegedly scanning platforms and issuing takedowns rapidly across multiple uploads and accounts.

While companies using automated copyright systems isn’t new, the scale of this latest move is what stands out. With bots now allegedly involved in enforcement, creators may start seeing clips disappear faster than ever before.

Do you think WWE is right to aggressively protect its content online, or are moves like this going too far against streamers and fan creators? Let us know your thoughts below.
