Wembanyama looked completely unguardable against the Minnesota defense, shedding away all doubt around his offensive bag and finishing the night with an incredible 13-for-18 from the floor and converting 10 of his 12 free-throw attempts.

While Wembanyama was the undisputed star of the night, Anthony Edwards refused to let Minnesota go down without a fight. San Antonio jumped out to an 18-3 lead before the four-time All-Star’s first-quarter surge eventually helped cut it down to 1 point.
Edwards exploded for a team-high 32 points, as well as 14 rebounds and 6 assists in a valiant effort for Minnesota.
