EC3’s crusade to take over TNA is a little tougher than expected. The two-time TNA world champion is still winless since his return.
EC3 is in the third act of his career story. First came success, then came exile. Now, the it’s time for the crusade to finish what he started. EC3 commented on social media about Act 3, “CRUSADE Retun? Pffft…. No, you invade. Not a comeback… a campaign. Scorched earth across timelines, locker rooms, and false gods. Banners made of broken narratives. Victories counted in territory taken.”
The crusade starts with Eric Young. Their first clash ended in no contest when both men got too rowdy for their britches. The rematch was no disqualification. Young prevailed with victory after three mule kicks to the gonads, a piledriver through a table on the floor, and a piledriver onto a chair in the ring for the pin.
That result and how it was accomplished does a good job setting adversity for EC3 to overcome. That first win will be all the more sweeter. The assumption is that EC3 will eventually conquer the TNA World Championship one more time. This feud with Young bides time until the moment is right for EC3’s crowning triumph. The question becomes if EC3 and Young will up the ante of violence or tone it down for a traditional wrestling match.
