- eNASCAR launches esports competition to be broadcast during SimRacing Expo Charlotte
- Event open to all eligible collegiate students in the USA
eNASCAR, organiser of the world’s premier virtual stock car championship, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series, has launched a sim racing competition open to American collegiate students.
Run in association with the collegiate esports platform PlayVS, the eNASCAR College Sim Racing Expo Showdown initially features a hot-lapping qualifying stage, which runs from the 11th to the 18th of May via iRacing’s Time Attack mode.
Driving iRacing’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the fastest 40 will qualify for the main event at SimRacing Expo Charlotte, on Sunday, 24th May, where all the action will be remotely broadcast live on the main stage.
The winner will receive a Logitech wheel-and-pedal bundle, iRacing credits, and a personalised trophy, while the other podium finishers will also receive credits.

SimRacing Expo tickets now on sale
The SimRacing Expo Charlotte will take place in the Charlotte Convention Center between 22nd and 24th May 2026. Tickets are on sale now, with a limited edition Golden Ticket bundle also available.
This offers three days of SimRacing Expo Charlotte access, one-day access to the NASCAR Hall of Fame museum and a Race-Day Bundle for the NASCAR Cup Coca-Cola 600 at the nearby Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Exhibitors include iRacing Studios, which will have showcase its NASCAR 25, iRacing Arcade and World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing 24 titles, as well as its eponymous iRacing sim platform.
