Bianca Belair already revealed that she and Montez Ford are expecting a baby boy — but now she’s giving fans another look at the injury that helped change her entire future.
After previously opening up about how complications from a serious finger injury played a major role in her decision to step away and focus on starting a family, Belair shared a fresh update on May 13 that showed just how severe the damage still is.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Belair uploaded a photo of her injured finger, revealing that the swelling remains extreme months after the original injury happened. She also explained that the damage has completely changed her ring size.
“Finally got my ring back and can finally wear it again. My ring size went from a 7.5 to a…..10! My ring finger is bigger than my thumb now.”
This comes after Belair recently explained in a vlog that the injury never healed the way doctors originally expected following WrestleMania 41. According to Belair, she suffered a broken knuckle and permanent joint damage after landing awkwardly during a match.
“I broke my finger—I broke my knuckle, and I have joint damage. I lost a portion of my joint, which can’t be fixed. It still won’t bend to this day.”
Belair admitted the ongoing recovery issues eventually forced her to rethink her priorities and led directly into the decision to finally start a family with Montez Ford.
“I’ve sacrificed enough, and I’m just ready to have a baby.”
At this point, there’s still no confirmed timetable for when Belair may eventually return to the ring. But between the permanent joint damage, swelling that still hasn’t fully gone down, and her pregnancy announcement, it’s obvious her focus has shifted far beyond wrestling for now.
Do you think Bianca Belair should take as much time away from WWE as she needs, or do you think fans will start counting down immediately for her eventual return? Leave your thoughts and feedback below.
