Betting Markets (What Can You Bet On)
In Dota 2 esports betting, there are many market options for those who watch the biggest events, and people keep analysing each game as any outcome might make a difference.
Match Winner Selection
This is the go-to bet for most Dota 2 fans, just pick which team you think will win. Oddsmakers set the numbers based on things like a team’s recent form, rankings, and how they’re doing in the tournament. One upset, though, and it can throw everyone’s confidence out the window.
Map Winner Selection
When you’re looking at a Best of 3 or Best of 5 series, you might just want to pick a map winner instead of predicting the entire series result. Even if your team ends up losing the match, grabbing a win on just one map can keep your bet alive and add some excitement.
Series Score Prediction
The key here is that bets will be placed in an attempt to guess the final score of the match series. It could involve guessing a 2-0 or a 2-1 score during a Best-of-3 match series. Get it wrong, and you lose, so there’s a bit more risk but also more reward if you nail it.
Total Maps Market
With this one, you try to guess how many maps a series will go. In a Best-of-3, does it end in two straight games, or will it go the distance to a third? It’s all about reading how close you think the matchup really is.
First Blood Bets
This one’s quick and intense. You’re simply betting on which team will draw first blood, grab the game’s first kill. Live bettors love it because you get your answer (and a rush) almost immediately.
Total Kill Predictions
Here, you predict the total number of kills both teams will rack up. Bookmakers post a number, and you decide if you think the teams will go over or under it. It’s pretty straightforward, but you’ve got to have a good feel for the game’s tempo.
Roshan Betting Market
This market relates to the team killing Roshan first or the number of Roshan kills during the game. Since Roshan provides major rewards, teams controlling the objective often gain match control.
Handicap Market
Handicap betting basically evens the playing field. The favorite starts with a handicap (a few games or kills behind), and the underdog gets a bit of a head start. It’s a fun way to raise the stakes, especially if the teams seem mismatched.
Tournament Champion Market
This one’s a big ask, you’re predicting the tournament winner either before it starts or while it’s in full swing. The big teams always have lower odds since everybody expects them to go far.
Player Statistics Bets
This one’s all about individual player stats; how many kills, assists, deaths or last hits will a selected player get in a match ? It’s a big part of the game, especially when popular stars come onto the server with big expectations.
Teams and Players
Several strong Dota 2 teams with experienced captains and players will compete at BLAST Slam VII, while every squad hopes to avoid an early exit and fight for the prize pool.
Team Liquid
Team Liquid rolls in with Michael Vu at the helm as captain. Alongside him, Michał Jankowski, Marcus Hoelgaard, and Samuel Svahn round out the squad. Honestly, fans are pretty fired up and expect them to go far in the tournament.
BetBoom Team
BetBoom Team jumps into BLAST Slam VII led by Vitalie Melnic. Ilya Ulyanov, Danil Skutin, and Matvey Vasyunin join him, and their goal is pretty clear: steady results all through the event.
Tundra Esports
Tundra Esports has Neta Shapira calling the shots. Ivan Moskalenko, Bozhidar Bogdanov, and Matthew Walker back him up. The group has big ambitions for the playoffs in Copenhagen and wants to make their mark.
Team Falcons
Team Falcons heads into the tournament with Ammar Al-Assaf captaining. Oliver Lepko, Stanislav Potorak, and Andreas Nielsen round out the roster. The Falcons seem ready to take on anyone standing in their way.
Team Spirit
Team Spirit features Illya Mulyarchuk, Denis Sigitov, Magomed Khalilov, and Alexey Kosmynin. The squad’s eager to make another strong showing and go head-to-head with all the competitors at BLAST Slam VII.

Favourite Teams and Historical Results
Several teams enter BLAST Slam VII after winning major tournaments in recent seasons. Their prize earnings and victories have increased expectations from fans and created pressure before the event starts.
Team Liquid
Team Liquid rolls into 2026 with a full head of steam after grabbing the $300,000 prize at BLAST Slam VI. That win didn’t just boost their bank account, it put them right back in the conversation as title favorites.
BetBoom Team
The BetBoom Team walks in confident, too. They grabbed first place at PGL Wallachia Season 8 and pocketed $300,000. Now they want to keep their streak alive as BLAST Slam VII kicks off.
Tundra Esports
Tundra Esports – they’re dangerous as well. Fresh off their win at ESL One Birmingham 2026, where they took home $250,000, they look like a serious threat to anyone in the bracket.
Team Falcons
Team Falcons made their mark at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 in 2025. They clinched the first place and picked up $300,000, so pretty much any team facing them knows it’s not going to be easy.
Team Spirit
But then there’s Team Spirit. Their victory at the Esports World Cup 2025 was massive, they walked away with $1,000,000. Honestly, with that kind of history at big events, it’s no wonder their rivals keep an eye on them.
About the Tournament
The best Dota 2 teams are gearing up for BLAST Slam VII in Copenhagen, where big prizes, well-known players, surprises, and stressful moments in terms of betting have made fans watch each and every outcome with anxiety and thrill.
During the Group Stage, which occurs from May 26 to May 29, all 12 teams compete in a round-robin best-of-one series. First and second teams proceed to the Upper Bracket semi-finals, fifth and sixth teams advance to the second round of LCQs, seventh to tenth teams proceed to the first qualifying round, while other teams get eliminated.
The Last Chance Qualifier happens on May 30 with every match played in a Best-of-3 format. Two teams will secure Upper Bracket Quarterfinal places, while the rest leave the competition behind.
Playoff matches are scheduled from June 4 to June 7 under a double-elimination bracket system. Most series follow the Best-of-3 format, although the Grand Final becomes a Best-of-5 battle with massive pressure surrounding the stage.
The $1,000,000 USD prize pool contains $750,000 as prize money and $250,000 as team earnings. First place receives $300,000, second place earns $150,000, third and fourth place teams get $60,000, fifth and sixth place teams collect $35,000, seventh to tenth place teams earn $22,500, and the final two teams receive $10,000 each.
