Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite added several major developments to the AEW Double or Nothing card, including a contract signing that officially set MJF’s hair on the line and the full reveal of the 2026 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament brackets.
MJF signed the Title vs. Hair contract on the May 13 episode, making his AEW World Championship match against Darby Allin at Double or Nothing official. MJF will put his hair on the line. After signing, he attacked Allin with the Dynamite Diamond Ring and attempted a top-rope Tombstone piledriver before Kevin Knight made the save. Earlier in the night, Speedball Mike Bailey called out the winner of the main event for a future AEW World Championship match following Kevin Knight’s TNT Title defense, putting himself in line for a shot at Double or Nothing or beyond.
The full 2026 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament brackets were also revealed on AEW Dynamite. On the men’s side, Will Ospreay vs. Samoa Joe headlines the quarterfinals at Double or Nothing, following Ospreay’s return to singles competition Wednesday night. The remaining men’s quarterfinals are Swerve Strickland vs. Bandido, Brody King vs. Claudio Castagnoli, and Jack Perry vs. Mark Davis. The women’s quarterfinals are Willow Nightingale vs. Alex Windsor, Athena vs. Mina Shirakawa, Persephone vs. Hazuki, and Skye Blue vs. Sareee.
The Stadium Stampede teams were also finalized on Wednesday. Andrade El Idolo and The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connors) officially joined Ricochet and The Demand’s side, completing the lineup for the multi-man match.
AEW Double or Nothing takes place Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. It is the eighth annual Double or Nothing and the first time the event has been held in New York. The Zero Hour pre-show begins at 7 p.m. ET. The main card begins at 8 p.m. ET.
