Coco Gauff scratched and clawed her way to the Rome women’s singles final.
Meanwhile, Elina Svitolina just sort of got there unnoticed – until she upset Iga Swiatek i the semifinals.
It was to be a thin day – just the women’s final, and two men’s doubles semifinals, on the docket.
But with the rain Saturday, the men’s singles has to be completed. And the second women’s doubles semifinals has to be played.
