‘The Next Brock Lesnar’ Casts Doubts On WWE Icon’s In-Ring Retirement

Is Brock Lesnar’s career in the ring over following his loss at WrestleMania 42? One name often compared to Lesnar has shared his doubts.

Following his defeat to Oba Femi, Lesnar left his gloves and boots in the ring, typically a sign that a wrestler is retiring from in-ring competition.

Speaking with “ITR Wrestling,” Parker Boudreaux, a former WWE NXT Superstar, had his doubts as to whether Lesnar is truly finished. He said,

“If it is actually (retirement), because you know, he has probably retired five times, so we’ll see you know!

“Hey man, I would never say never because you never know with wrestling. I mean, for me, he still looks in prime shape. He almost looked bigger than he was and stronger. So it’s not like he lost anything. And so, for him, he is such a one-of-one person, he could come back any moment, do anything.”

Later in the interview, Boudreaux shared that some kind of partnership with Lesnar, whether as a tag-team or Brock as a mentor, would be great. He said,

“Obviously, if anybody would be looking forward to anything in the future, me and him pairing up or me versus him or me and him, you know, doing something. Him mentoring me, you know, I’m sure people would love to see (it). You can’t tell me millions of people would not want to see that, but other than that man, he’s Brock Lesnar, dude, he could do whatever he wants. He is the legend, man.”

With his size and resemblance to Lesnar, Boudreaux quickly turned heads in WWE, with Paul Heyman even reusing Brock’s early moniker of ‘The Next Big Thing.’

After his exit from WWE, Boudreaux joined AEW, but has since left the company. He is now competing internationally, including in Australia, India, and Japan.
