Morgan Gibbs-White has been linked with a move away from Nottingham Forest at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old has been outstanding for them in the Premier League. According to a report from TeamTalk, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the English playmaker.
However, he could end up staying at Nottingham Forest. The player is not pushing for a move away from the club right now, and he has recently signed a long-term contract with them.
Nottingham Forest does not want to lose the player either. Elliot Anderson has already been linked with the move away from the club, and it seems that Nottingham Forest might choose to sell him instead of Gibbs-White.
Manchester United have been overly dependent on Bruno Fernandes for goals and creativity from the middle of the park. They could certainly use more depth in that area of the pitch.
The 26-year-old Nottingham Forest star could prove to be the ideal acquisition for them. He can operate both centrally and on the flanks. He will score goals and create opportunities for his teammates. It is no surprise Manchester United is interested in him.
On the other hand, Tottenham could use more goals from the midfield as well. They were heavily linked with a move for Morgan Gibbs-White before he signed the long-term deal with Nottingham Forest. However, they were not able to get the deal done. It remains to be seen whether they decide to make a move in the summer.
It has been a disappointing season for them, and they need quality players to bounce back. The 26-year-old could make a big difference for them going forward. The midfielder has 16 goals and seven assists this season.
