Referee Eric Irizarry then called time after Wagner got up and had a ringside physician examine the Canadian. The fight was then waved off, giving Norman the technical knockout win.

Kelvin Davis (16-1, 8 KOs) won a split decision against Peter Dobson (17-4, 10 KOs) in a 10-round welterweight fight. Although one judge had it 98-92 for Dobson, the other two saw it 99-91 and 97-93 for Davis.
