WWE shares Netflix with a lot of other programming. On Saturday Night, CM Punk showed up to support a former WWE Superstar, and it was a huge night.
Ronda Rousey fought MMA pioneer Gina Carano at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The historic women’s featherweight superfight was the main event for Most Valuable Promotions and streamed live on Netflix.
Before the main event started, they had some time to kill. That is when CM Punk was interviewed in the crowd. He was all smiles and having a great time.
When asked who he picked for the main event, CM Punk answered that he had to go with Ronda Rousey. He did admit that Carano was stiff competition, but Punk believed that Rousey would pull things off in the clinch.
CM Punk wasn’t the only big name at the fight. Tommy Lee, Michael Irvin, and so many more were on hand to watch the Rousey versus Carano fight. It was an impressive special on Netflix, and CM Punk seemed to be entertained.
