Packers’ Rookie Predicted To Be A Late-round Breakout

The Packers may have walked way from the 2026 NFL Draft with one of the biggest steals of the weekend, in terms of marrying value with need.

When Dani Dennis-Sutton slipped to the fourth round, and Green Bay was able to reunite the former Penn State standout opposite Micah Parsons, it was the kind of pick that has the potential to significantly raise the ceiling on coordinator Jonathan Gannon’s defense immediately.

Dennis-Sutton was also tremendous value.

Over at Yardbarker, Seth Trachtman put together a list of the top-25 late-round picks capable of making an immediate impact across the league, including Dennis-Sutton on the Packers’ pass rush.

“Adding pass rush talent has been a priority for the Packers this offseason,” Trachtman points out. “With Micah Parsons coming off an injury. Dennis-Sutton is coming off two productive seasons at Penn State and could help immediately as a pass-rushing specialist.”

The Packers are certainly banking on Dennis-Sutton hitting the ground running, after posting 17 sacks and 25 tackles for loss over his final two collegiate seasons.
