The Jacksonville Jaguars fired Urban Meyer after just 11 months as head coach.
Otherwise known as a legendary coach on the college football field, Meyer went 2-11 in the NFL, and his time in Jacksonville came complete with off-field incidents as well as an alleged kick of his kicker.
It was a disastrous tenure for Meyer, but he tried to salvage his time in Jacksonville by suing the organization for wrongful termination.
Meyer took the Jaguars to court in an effort to try to get over $30 million that he would have been owed for the final four years of his contract.
That grievance against his old team has failed, though. According to Brett McMurphy of On3, an independent arbiter ruled that the Jags fired Meyer with cause.
