Brock Lesnar’s shocking WWE return on RAW included an awkward wardrobe malfunction during his attack on Oba Femi.
Many fans believed that Lesnar’s in-ring career was over after he suffered a quick squash loss to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42. “The Beast Incarnate” received an emotional farewell from the crowd, and with Paul Heyman accompanying him afterward, WWE commentary officially confirmed his retirement on the following episode of WWE RAW.
Since then, Oba Femi has continued his dominant run on Monday Night RAW by hosting weekly open challenges. However, this week’s challenge never got underway after Lesnar made his return during Femi’s entrance and launched an assault, planting “The Ruler” with multiple F5s.
The segment didn’t go entirely smoothly, as viewers quickly noticed that Lesnar appeared to suffer a wardrobe malfunction when his pants ripped during the attack.
Following the chaotic scene, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce was shown furious backstage. Upon returning to his office, Pearce discovered Paul Heyman already waiting for him. Heyman informed Pearce that Lesnar had already completed the paperwork to reverse his retirement.
The WWE Hall of Famer then revealed a contract for Clash in Italy on May 31, noting that Lesnar had already signed it. Heyman added that the only signature still needed was Oba Femi’s to officially make the rematch happen before leaving Pearce stunned over the situation.
