Arsenal now accelerating move to sign “insane” star

Arsenal are now accelerating their move to sign Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge this summer, as they look to get one over on Premier League rivals.

Arsenal accelerating Tzolis move

The Gunners will be looking to make a statement this summer, even if they secure a historic Premier League and Champions League double. They’ll know just how difficult it is to retain those titles, after all, and how important the transfer window can be when attempting to do exactly that.

Improving Mikel Arteta’s frontline is likely to be the priority once again, with Julian Alvarez the top target and a versatile winger perhaps next on the list.

As reported by TeamTalk, Arsenal are now accelerating their move to sign Tzolis from Club Brugge. The winger has been involved in a whopping 47 goals this season, with 20 goals and 27 assists. It simply does not get much more impressive than that.

Those in North London have completed their in-person checks on Tzolis and will be looking to jump ahead of Manchester United and London rivals Chelsea in the race for his signature.

What may help in that regard is the fact that the Club Brugge star is represented by the same agency as Arteta. The relationship is, therefore, already there when it comes to negotiating on the player’s side – handing the Gunners a small advantage.

Dubbed “insane” by talent scout Jacek Kulig, Tzolis would be an immediate upgrade on Leandro Trossard in almost every department. With such high goal involvement, there’s every chance that he would complete Arsenal’s attack once and for all.

Arteta admits he’s “biggest ever” Bournemouth fan vs Man City

By this stage of the season, some managers like to convince everyone that they won’t be watching rivals in action. With the Premier League title is on the line, however, Arteta is not one of those managers. The Spaniard admitted that he’ll be Bournemouth’s “biggest ever” fan when they square off against Manchester City this evening.

He told reporters: “The biggest ever. For Andoni [Iraola] and all the players, and all the people who are supporters of Bournemouth, I think we all are. We know that means tomorrow they get our support.”

The Arsenal boss also praised his side and fans for what they have created at the Emirates in recent years, saying: “It’s incredible to witness what we have created in this stadium.

“Obviously I have memories from the past, and the comparison is unbelievable to watch. I’m so proud of that. Today they have created something so special outside the stadium, in the stadium. Now we have set the standards that we are responsible for maintaining because we can provide that, and we know the outcome.”

Alas, whether it all ends in the ultimate glory remains the only unanswered question for all involved in North London this season.
