MISUGHA inaugurates Ketu South Branch in Volta Region • Sahara Football

The Millennium Supporters Union of Ghana (MISUGHA) has officially inaugurated its Ketu South Branch in a colorful ceremony held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Ketu South Municipal hall, marking another significant step in the union’s expansion across the Volta Region.

The event brought together football supporters, traditional authorities, dignitaries, invited guests, and members of the supporters’ union in a celebration characterized by unity, passion, and commitment to the growth of Ghana football. Activities for the day began with a health walk through parts of Ketu South before the main inauguration ceremony.

The inauguration forms part of MISUGHA’s broader expansion agenda in the Volta Region following the successful inauguration of the Volta Regional Chapter earlier this year in Ho. In February 2026, the union launched the regional chapter alongside the Ho Asogli and Ho branches in a historic ceremony attended by national executives, football stakeholders, and supporters from across the country.

The latest inauguration attracted several notable personalities including the Deputy Ambassador to Togo, H.E. Bright Kwaku Kumordzi, members of the National Executive of MISUGHA led by National Chairman Isaac Agbesi, the Regional Executive headed by Regional Co-chairperson
Madam Aku-Sika Kpene, traditional rulers, invited guests, and supporters.

The ceremony featured vibrant jama sessions, cultural displays, entertainment, and moments of solidarity, reflecting the enthusiasm and spirit of Ghanaian football supporters. The successful inauguration of the Ketu South Branch is expected to further strengthen supporter engagement and deepen MISUGHA’s presence within Ghana’s football community.
