With a new name for their quinceañera, the Seattle Streets Alliance (formerly Seattle Neighborhood Greenways) is throwing a street party on Capitol Hill June 6, and you’re invited. It’s free and for people of all ages. Register online to help them estimate a head count, and maybe toss them a few bucks if you can to support their work.

Held on the Barbara Bailey Way festival street outside Capitol Hill Station from 3–6 p.m., the party will have live music, stories, kid-friendly art and games, and local food and drinks. Put it on your calendar! It’s gonna be a good time.

More details from the Streets Alliance:

For 15 years, Seattle Streets Alliance has worked alongside neighbors, small businesses, and community groups to transform streets from cut‑through traffic corridors into places for people. From neighborhood greenways and safer crossings to street festivals and open streets events, our movement has helped create a city where more of us can walk, roll, bike, and gather safely.

To celebrate this milestone, we’re bringing the energy back to the street. Join us for an evening that turns a familiar corridor into a people-first space—filled with music, art, food, and stories from the communities who have shaped our work from day one.

Come celebrate 15 years of wins, honor the organizers who made them possible, and help imagine the next 15 years of people-centered streets in Seattle.
