Report: WWE reveals reason behind bringing back more house shows this summer

According to PWInsider during a recent town hall meeting, both Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Nick Khan explained the reason behind more main roster house shows the company plans on doing this summer.

It was said that Levesque and Khan both stated they have discovered house shows are not only an important method for talent to get reps in the ring, but also can be used as a means of experimenting with different things in front of fans and not a television audience.

It was also said the house shows would see a mix of younger talent getting more experience in front of a live crowd with already established main roster talent. Furthermore, Levesque and Khan stressed they desire to fight the balance, so there is less risk of injuries.

After Endeavor purchased WWE back in 2023, the number of non-televised events was greatly reduced.

WWE’s Summer Tour schedule kicks off on Saturday, July 11 with an event at the NMSU Pan American Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
