F1 25: 2026 Season Pack expansion revealed with June release date
  • F1 25 2026 Season Pack confirmed for 3 June
  • Includes new 2026 rules, regulations, teams, drivers and Madring circuit
  • Priced at £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99 on consoles and £21.99 / $24.99 / €24.99 on PC

F1 25’s 2026 Season Pack expansion is set to release on 3 June in place of an annual sequel this year.

Showcased in a reveal trailer, the expansion features the updated rules and regulations for the 2026 season, along with new teams and drivers, and the new Madring circuit.

Reflecting the real-world regulation changes, the expansion’s updated cars are lighter, smaller and more responsive to drive. Active aerodynamics allow you to adjust the front and rear wings to balance speed and grip.

In the real-world championship, the redesigned cars are equipped with new power units featuring a near 50/50 split between electric and combustion power. This introduces an energy management element, where drivers must choose when to apply full power or charge the battery.

This will be represented in the expansion’s new Overtake Mode, where a significant power boost of nearly 500 hp will require the right timing and strategy. Not every new car will be available at launch, but additional models will be added in a post-launch patch.

In addition, the expansion includes the new Madring circuit, the first new F1 circuit since 2026. Set in Madrid, the hybrid street circuit will be playable in F1 25’s 2026 Season Pack expansion before its real-world debut during the Spanish Grand Prix in September.

Spanning 5.4 km (3.35 miles), its layout features a mix of high-speed sections and technical corners.

Two new teams also join F1 25’s team roster in the expansion, with Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez driving for the all-new Cadillac team and Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hülkenberg racing for Audi, which replaces Sauber.

Elsewhere, driver changes from this year’s season will also be applied. Arvid Lindblad joins Liam Lawson at Racing Bulls, while Isack Hadjar joins Max Verstappen at Red Bull Racing

“The F1 25: 2026 Season Pack marks the beginning of a bold new era for Formula 1,” said Codemasers Senior Creative Director and F1 game veteran, Lee Mather.

“With sweeping regulation changes and new teams and rivalries redefining the grid, players can experience the most significant evolution of the sport in over a decade. We are thrilled to bring these changes to players, including the incredible opportunity to race virtually on the MADRING circuit before the race, and look forward to sharing more soon.”

Notably, the expansion marks the first time Codemasters hasn’t released an annual F1 game since 2009.

Next year sees the series return with a new, “reimagined” entry. Codemasters says players can expect the 2027 game to deliver a “refreshed experience” that “looks, feels and plays differently,” with “more gameplay choices.”
