Nikki Bella is making it very clear where dating fits into her life right now, and the answer is simple: it doesn’t.
While speaking to Boardroom, Nikki Bella said she is focused on her current workload and business goals, especially expanding Madam Paleta across the United States and eventually worldwide. When asked if she was good right now or working toward specific goals, Nikki said her plate is already full.
“As of now, I’m good. My goal here is I want everyone across the U.S. to be able to buy [Madam Paleta]. Right now, you can get it shipped to you, but I want you to go walk in. So that’s the mission for me over the next few years, and I hope to get it globally, because I hate leaving out my Bella Army globally. I hate it.”
Nikki explained that once she reaches that goal, she may have room for something new. For now, though, she said her businesses and other responsibilities are enough.
“They’ll always be like, ‘But why not us?’ That’s my mission. The minute that happens, then I know I’ll have space for something new. But as of now with all my other things that I have, I’m like, that’s it for now.”
That’s when Nikki brought up Brie Bella possibly asking about making room for a relationship, and Nikki shut that idea down immediately.
“So my sister will be like, ‘But how about a man?’ No, I don’t got time for a man, that’s going to have to wait. Bring him in a few years. I don’t need him now.”
This comes after Nikki previously clarified comments she made about dating preferences on The Nikki & Brie Show. At the time, Nikki admitted her remarks about “semi-cute” guys and “super hot” guys did not come across the way she intended.
“Sometimes when I say things and then read them back, it’s like—ew, I’m cringed out—because that’s not what I meant. I was answering a question, saying something about, yeah, I’d date semi-cute guys because they’re sweet or whatever, while super hot guys are narcissists. But reading it, that’s not how I meant it.”
Nikki later explained that her dating life has never really been about looks anyway. She said connection and energy matter more than someone fitting a specific type.
“You know how I am—I meet people off energy. When people ask me my type, I don’t have an answer for that.”
For now, Nikki seems far more focused on her business ventures than dating headlines. After recently clearing up how her past comments came across, she has now made it even clearer that romance is not her priority at the moment.
