The Packers will be looking for more from Josh Jacobs in 2026.
Last season, Jacobs rushed for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns last season, while battling through nagging knee injuries, but his return to form could hold the key to the Packers’ offense finding an identity in 2026.
There’s one major key to Josh Jacobs becoming the Packers’ driving force
According to Packers reporter Mike Spofford, that’s one major key to Jacobs returning to form.
“His health will play a big part,” Spofford writes, for the team’s official website.
If Jacobs can stay healthy and rediscover his explosive form, the Packers’ ground game will become a lethal complement to Jordan Love and the passing attack.
A dominant rushing threat would not only take the pressure off the young receiving corps but also allow Green Bay to dictate the tempo of games late into the winter. Ultimately, the ceiling of the 2026 Packers offense rests largely on No. 8’s shoulders, and a fully healthy season from him could be exactly what elevates this team to true championship contention.
