He should be called the two-way star.
Shohei Ohtani, the pitching and hitting machine, has done it again, making the game of baseball look so easy. With that, here’s another Topps Now card that he has, and the summary goes like this:
In his return to hitting while pitching, two-way phenom Shohei Ohtani’s first-pitch homer paved the way for five shutout innings tossed in a 4-0 Los Angeles Dodgers win over San Diego. Ohtani, who lowered his ERA to 0.73, has now homered seven times in a scoreless start (including the Postseason), breaking a tie with Bob Gibson for the most such games since at least 1900.
Until then, see you at the park.
