Mika Rotunda Pens Emotional Tribute to Bray Wyatt on His Birthday

The family of Bray Wyatt is continuing to honor his memory, and this year’s tribute from his sister carried an especially emotional story tied to one of his final birthdays.

On May 23, 2026, Mika took to Instagram and uploaded a photo of herself laughing with Bray, who passed away in August 2023. She wrote that his laugh is something she will carry with her forever: “This laugh will echo in my dreams for the rest of my time here. ❤️” Mika noted that this marks the third birthday without him and looked back on the last birthday they were able to celebrate together in 2023.

“May 23rd. The third one without him. On Windham’s last earthly birthday we got to celebrate with him in 2023, we showed up at his house with the obligatory cookie cake, ready to cook for him and love on him.”

She then shared a personal memory from the end of her pregnancy, revealing that Bray had secretly saved a slice of cookie cake and gave it to her out of love.

“Two days later, very pregnant, I went back over to his house looking for another piece. Windham took me upstairs and showed me the hiding spot where he had tucked away a slice from his four kids. Then he handed it to me and told me to have it, just out of love. That was so true to who he was.”

Mika also remembered Bray visiting her in the hospital after she gave birth, arriving with his children, a huge balloon, and another cookie cake.

“A month later, I gave birth. Windham and his four beautiful children came to the hospital to meet their new cousin. They rushed through the doors with laughter, the biggest balloon they could find… and another cookie cake.”

She said Bray gave her one more playful moment tied to the cake, showing the kind of warmth she clearly misses.

“Windham looked at me, gave me a wink, and said, ‘One last cookie cake before I know you won’t have anymore.’”

Mika closed the tribute with a message about grief, love, and remembering to enjoy life while it is here and said she will always love and grieve her brother

“I guess what I’m trying to say is this: life is short. Be sure to eat the cake. ❤️“We love him forever, and my heart will always grieve the loss of such a beautiful person. I know he is wrapped in the arms of Jesus now, soaring to heights this Earth could never reach. I love you more.”

Bray Wyatt’s loss is still deeply felt by his family and the wrestling world, and Mika’s tribute shows the private, loving side of Windham Rotunda beyond the character fans knew on television.
