According to a report on Saturday from Fightful Select, former three-time TNT Champion Wardlow is in the New York City area for Sunday’s AEW Double or Nothing PPV, which is taking place at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park.
The report also notes that it is not know if Wardlow is scheduled to make an appearance on the PPV.
Wardlow’s last appearance on AEW programming was at the 2025 AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV in London, where he attacked Swerve Strickland and ended up injuring himself again by tearing his torn pectoral muscle.
Wardlow is part of the American Gladiators reboot on Amazon Prime. Sources close to Fightful Select indicated that he worked the show with a torn left bicep and passed on undergoing surgery and wore a sleeve instead during filming.
