The Black Queens of Ghana are set to take part in a three-nation international tournament in Tanzania during the FIFA Women’s international window scheduled from June 1 to June 9, 2026.

The tournament will be staged in Dar es Salaam and will feature Ghana alongside hosts Tanzania and Malawi as all three countries continue preparations for the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

For the Black Queens, the upcoming tournament presents another important opportunity to remain active during the international break while building momentum ahead of WAFCON 2026.

The matches are expected to offer valuable competitive experience for the squad as the technical team led by Kim Lars continues to assess player performances and strengthen team cohesion.

The tournament will also serve as a platform for the coaching staff to test combinations within the squad and maintain the team’s sharpness before heading to Morocco for the 2026 WAFCON.

Having claimed third place at the last edition of the WAFCON, the Black Queens are aiming to go all the way in the next tournament to win the trophy.
