Jade Cargill has pinned the champion Rhea Ripley ahead of their rematch for the WWE Women’s Championship.
At Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23, the show kicked off with a killer six-woman tag team match. A match all six women shined. Cargill would end up delivering a Jaded to Ripley to secure the win for her team. Ripley was teamed up with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair while Cargill was with Michin and B-Fab.
If Cargill can do this next Saturday at Clash in Italy, she’ll become a two time champion.
Also at SNME, Paige and Brie Bella retained the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. They defeated the team they won the belts from at WrestleMania, The Irresistible Forces. The finish saw Paige roll Nia Jax up, with Brie giving her extra leverage by placing her foot on her lower back.
Sol Ruca defeated Becky Lynch by disqualification after Lynch pulled Jessika Carr into the Sol Snatcher. The two meet again at Clash in Italy, this time with the Women’s IC Title on the line.
