WWE Raw rolls into the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH tonight with the final televised programming before Clash in Italy on May 31, with Oba Femi set to open the show, a Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu contract signing locked in for the broadcast, and a Becky Lynch appearance also expected.
Oba Femi will kick off the show to respond to Brock Lesnar’s surprise attack on the May 18 Raw. Lesnar interrupted Femi’s open challenge with four F-5s in his first WWE TV appearance since SummerSlam 2023. Adam Pearce subsequently approached Paul Heyman backstage for an explanation, and Heyman produced a Clash in Italy contract for Lesnar, signed by Lesnar. Femi’s Monday opening segment is expected to address the attack and the contract.
Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu’s contract signing for their Tribal Combat match at Clash in Italy is the marquee segment of the broadcast. The Bloodline storyline has been building toward the Sunday match for weeks.
The May 18th Raw saw Fatu close to being fired by Adam Pearce before issuing the Tribal Combat challenge at the last possible moment. Reigns accepted, with the contract signing tonight delivering the final on-screen step before Sunday’s title match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
