Jack Perry’s wild bus crash spot at AEW Double or Nothing was not pre-taped after all.
During Stadium Stampede, Perry drove a bus through the parking lot, smashed through a golf cart, and crashed into a car. Because the stunt happened outside the arena, a lot of fans thought AEW may have filmed it ahead of time. That theory is now dead.
Fan footage captured by Twitter user Joe Ferro confirmed the entire crash happened live during the pay-per-view as fans watched inside the venue. The footage quickly spread online after viewers realized AEW actually pulled off the dangerous stunt in real time instead of editing it into the show later.
Perry was part of the winning Stadium Stampede team alongside Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin. Their team defeated the Don Callis Family, The Demand, and The Dogs in one of the craziest matches of the night.
The bus crash instantly became one of the biggest moments from Double or Nothing, especially after the live footage surfaced proving it happened exactly as fans saw it on the broadcast.
