The Rugby Africa Women’s Cup Performance Division standings took shape after match day two, with the Kenya Lionesses climbing to the top of the table following an emphatic 57-0 victory over the Madagascar women’s side. The hosts now sit on 10 points with an impressive points difference of +90.
Defending champions South Africa Women occupy second place after powering past the Uganda Lady Cranes 47-20.
Despite also securing two bonus-point wins, South Africa drop below the Kenya Lionesses due to an inferior points difference after conceding more points than the hosts.
Uganda Lady Cranes are third on the standings after suffering defeats in both of their opening matches. The Ugandans remain without a point and have a points difference of -60.
Madagascar Women sit bottom of the table after conceding the highest number of points in the competition so far.
The teams will return to action on Sunday for the final round of matches, with the title race set for an exciting finish between the Kenya Lionesses and South Africa Women and relegation battle between Uganda and Makis.
