Forza Horizon 6 Patch Notes and Roadmap of Updates

Forza Horizon 6 is out now and making big waves, with several DLC packs and regular seasonal updates planned. Here we’ll be collecting every FH6 patch and major update so far while also keeping tabs on the open-world racing game’s future.

As usual, things are subject to change in live-service plans, but considering Forza Horizon 6 has a massive community and Playground Games’ has perfected the driving sandbox formula several times now, we’re not expecting many bumps in this road.

Forza Horizon 6 Latest Patch Notes: Series 1 Hotfix 2

The latest Forza Horizon 6 update is Series 1 Hotfix 2, released on May 27, 2026. It dealt with performance and stability fixes while also applying optimisations to PC audio performance. Here are the patch notes:

General

  • Performance and stability fixes

Collection Journal

  • Fixed an issue where the Photography Section of Discover Japan could not be completed, which prevented players from reaching Master Explorer.

Audio (PC)

  • Further optimizations have been applied to PC audio performance, including adjustments to “Low” and “Very Low” Audio Quality settings. We recommend using these settings within the Graphics & Performance section of the Settings menu if you are experiencing audio crackling.

When it comes to Forza Horizon 6’s future, we know Xbox and Playground Games have a lot planned on top of regular seasonal rotations and limited-time playlists that appear naturally in the game, but nothing has been made public yet. We’ll be updating this section as news bits come out.
