Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte has been dominating at the plate. He recently won NL Player of the Week for the stretch of a strong performance from May 18-24.
He went 15-for-28 (.536) with a 1.563 OPS, three home runs and 12 RBI. He also recorded five multi-hit games and his first career walk-off home run against the San Francisco Giants on May 19.
Marte is riding a 10-game hitting streak entering the team’s May 27 game against the Giants.
He demonstrated his power on May 26 when he crushed a 452-foot home run at Oracle Park that led to a 7-5 victory over the Giants. It was one of the longest home runs hit at the park since Shohei Ohtani smashed a 454-foot blast in September of 2025.
On the season he’s batting .273 with nine home runs.
