Seven Free Streaming Events from Europe! (May 27-31, 2026)

The outdoor season is back in full swing with no fewer than seven events being streamed live on the European Athletics channels this week, including four World Athletics Continental Tour Silver meetings.

This is what’s coming up this week, who to watch, and how you can watch.

JBL Jump Fest – Kosice (SVK) | WACT Silver

A world-class international men’s triple jump field has been assembled for the men’s triple jump at this street meeting, which unfolds against the impressive backdrop of St. Elizabeth’s Cathedral.

The field is highlighted by world leader Jordan Scott and his precocious Jamaican teammate Jaydon Hibbert, who could compete for the first time since finishing fourth at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The women’s long jump line-up includes seven meter-plus jumpers, Ackelia Smith from Jamaica and France’s Hilary Kpatcha, who have PBs of 7.08m and 7.02m respectively.  Also watch out for Swede Khaddi Sagnia and Tilde Johansson, and 2024 world indoor silver medallist Monae Nichols from the United States.

Canarias Athletics Invitational – Santa Cruz de Tenerife (ESP) | WACT Silver

When: 27 May
Live streaming on the European Athletics YouTube channel from 18:00 CEST (5.00pm local time)

Mariano Garcia, who made history by becoming the first athlete in history to win both 800m and 1500m titles at the World Athletics Indoor Championships, will make his outdoor season debut in the 1500m.

From an international standpoint, there will also be a lot of interest in the women’s triple jump starring Venezuela’s Yulimar Rojas. The world record-holder will also be making her outdoor season’s debut after winning silver at the World Athletics Indoor Championships as she continues her return from an Achilles rupture.

Filathlitkos Kallitheas International Jumping Meeting – Athens (GRE) | WACT Bronze

2023 world bronze medallist Alina Rotaru-Kottmann from Romania and three-time European indoor silver medallist Thobias Montler from Sweden are the standout entrants in the jumps-only meeting on the outskirts of Athens.

Trond Mohn Games – Bergen (NOR) | WACT Silver

Henriette Jaeger makes her individual outdoor season’s debut after anchoring Norway to a historic victory in the women’s 4x400m at the World Relays in Gaborone.

As is customary, Jaeger will contest the 300m at this meeting. She has won over this distance at the last two editions of this meeting, coming within 0.01 of Irina Privalova’s long-standing European best at this seldom-contested discipline with 35.46 in 2024.

Other highlights include both the women’s and men’s hammer. The women’s hammer field includes European Throwing Cup winner Katrine Koch Jacobsen against Finns Silja Kosonen and Krista Tervo, and European champion Sara Fantini from Italy, along with double world medallist Janee’ Kassanavoid from the United States.

The men’s line-up features Merlin Hummel from Germany and Hungary’s Bence Halasz, the silver and bronze medallists from the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo, and Olympic bronze medallist Mykhaylo Kokhan from Ukraine.

European Challenger Championships – Monaco (MON)

Fresh from a 1.94m clearance in Rehlingen on Sunday, Marija Vukovic will be one of the big names in action on Saturday at the European Challenger Championships, the companion to the Games of the Small States of Europe.

Other notable entrants include Andorrans Pol Moya (800/1500m) and Nahuel Carabana (5000m), Cypriot twins Olivia Fotopoulou (200m) and Filippa Fotopoulou (long jump) and Moldova’s Andrian Mardare.

Goldenes Oval – Dresden (GER) | WACT Silver

Olympic shot put champion Yemisi Mabry (Ogunleye) and European long jump champion Malaika Mihambo are two of the star names who have been announced for the Goldenes Oval in Dresden.

With field events taking centre stage, Australia’s Matt Denny and Steven Richter will renew their rivalry in the discus after throwing 74.04m and 74.00m respectively in Ramona and world silver medallist Merlin Hummel takes on three-time European champion Wojciech Nowicki from Poland in the hammer.

European indoor champion Menno Vloon faces 2022 European silver medallist Bo Kanda Lita Baehre as well as Turkish record-holder Ersu Sasma in the pole vault.
