Many people would love to see the Knicks win a championship, but they may feel even better if the Jets won a championship in the same year. As of now, it feels like they may have a long way to go, and even Aaron Glenn knows that.
“We have a ways to go, I know that,” Glenn said. “But I just want to see improvement every day. That’s basically it. If we’re doing that, we’re on the right track.”
The Jets were one of the worst teams in the league last season, and there wasn’t much to be proud of on either side of the ball. Luckily, during the offseason, they were able to make moves in those areas to help bolster the roster.
The hope is that those moves pay off, and another year under Glenn can help them. Just like any contender, they all had to start from the bottom, but it was the continued growth that helped them get to where they are. The Knicks were once in a similar situation, and now they’ve built one of the better teams in the league and have a chance at winning an NBA championship.
